What We Do

We are first and foremost growers, supplying the wholesale design and landscape markets from our location on the Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire border.

Over 80% of the plants offered through our catalogue and web site are grown on our nursery and of that, over half are propagated by ourselves. Our enthusiasm for growing is what attracts our customers. Because we propagate so many of our own plants we able to offer good quantities of some of the more unusual varieties. In fact it's our clients with their passion for plants who suggest many of the new varieties we offer every year.

We have regular visits from groups of customers throughout the year and Gordon is often about during the winter visiting clients, listening and learning so that we can improve the service we offer our clients.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit to Manor Farm Nurseries please contact us.

Quality

If you would like to talk to us personally about your plans and requirements please contact us and we will be delighted to help.

As a team we strive hard to ensure we offer plants of the highest quality. Our reputation is based upon it. Because we grow most of the plants we sell, we are able to monitor quality throughout the process, ensuring that the plants leave our nursery correct, clean and healthy.

Nestling on the borders of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire our plants are fully acclimatized to the extremes of weather nature has to offer. By not supplying garden centres and concentrating on the design and landscape sectors, we are able to take more time over growing our plants, we do not force them to fit into limited sales windows.

Most of our potting is undertaken during May–August so that our plants are fully rooted and strong, ready for the autumn and the following spring. With only limited amounts of plants potted in February, stock availability is always at its best from October/November each year; and we have a full nursery of overwintered plants ready to begin the spring season.
