PRUNUS laurocerasus Rotundifolia

A versatile and fast growing evergreen, dense bushy shrub. Spikes of white flowers in spring are followed by red berries. Its glossy leaves make a fine backdrop to other plants and is a popular hedging choice. A good partner to other evergreens like Viburnum davidii and Choisya ternata.
