Terms and Conditions

  1. This catalogue cancels all previous catalogues.

  2. All items are offered for sale subject to crop and being available at the time of ordering.

  3. All prices quoted by Manor Farm Nurseries are exclusive of V.A.T. which will be charged at the standard rate.

  4. Unless otherwise stated, all plant material and prices are for supply ex. nursery.

  5. All transactions are strictly cash or cheque at time of collection or delivery, unless specifically agreed otherwise. Credit facilities can be arranged, however bank and trade references will be taken up before this facility is made available.

  6. All prices quoted by Manor Farm Nurseries are subject to variation without prior notice.

  7. Whilst every endeavour is made to keep the nursery stock healthy and true to type and name, Manor Farm Nurseries liability is only limited to replacements of those plants, or a refund of the price paid. No warranty expressed or implied is given to the growth or suitability of the plants supplied in regard to their ultimate locations, or treatment once they have left our premises.

  8. Any claim for loss or damage must be made in writing within 7 days of the receipt of goods.

  9. Unless otherwise agreed, where account facilities have been granted, payment shall be received within 28 days from the date of invoice. Until full payment has been received all goods shall remain the property of Manor Farm Nurseries.

  10. Once plants have been received and no complaint communicated within 7 days, then the plants will be deemed to have been accepted and the full invoice value will become due. Manor Farm Nurseries reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding balances at 5% per calendar month.

  11. The giving or sending of an order constitutes acceptance of these terms by the purchaser. Cancellation of all or part of an order will incur a charge of 25% of the value of the order or plants, to cover the cost of returning plants on to the nursery.

  12. All information regarding height, flowering time etc. is given in good faith and is intended as a guide only.

  13. For orders over £750 delivery is free within a 50 mile radius of the nursery, excluding within the M25. For orders below £750 delivery is £50 within a 50 mile radius of the nursery, excluding within the M25. For orders up to 100 miles from the Nursery (excluding London post codes) we charge £60. We regularly deliver further a field and costs reflect distance and order. For orders in excess of £850 delivered to London post codes we charge £60.00. We are unable to accept orders for delivery by our own transport of under £200, however delivery by carrier can be arranged.

  14. Where Dutch Crates are taken from the nursery or left after a delivery; a charge will be made of £1.70 for shallow crates and £2.13 for deep ones. It will be the customer’s responsibility to return them to the nursery for credit.
